BEFORE YOU START
You must be a Creator or Power User to assign a Delegate.
The colleague you want to assign must already exist as a member in WorkBuzz Dialogue. If they are not on the list, refer to the article on how to add a member.
You can add multiple Delegates and remove them at any time.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Add a Delegate
1. Click on your profile
Select your account name in the bottom left corner of the screen to open your profile menu.
2. Click 'Delegation'
When the menu opens, click 'Delegation' to open the Delegation settings screen.
3. Open the 'Select a colleague' drop-down
On the Delegation page, use the 'Select a colleague' drop-down to open the list of colleagues available to assign as a Delegate.
💡 If the colleague you want to assign is not on the list, they will need to be added as a member first. Refer to the article on how to add a member.
4. Select the colleague
Scroll through the drop-down list and select the colleague you want to assign as your Delegate.
5. Click 'Add Delegate'
Click the 'Add Delegate' button to confirm your selection.
6. Confirm the delegation
A confirmation prompt will appear summarising the delegation. Click 'Confirm' to proceed.
7. Delegate added
The new Delegate will appear under 'Current Delegates' and a success message will confirm the change. Your colleague will automatically receive an email notifying them they have been assigned as your Delegate.
💡 You can add more than one Delegate. Repeat steps 3 to 6 for each additional colleague you want to assign.
Remove a Delegate
8. Go to the Delegation settings screen
Click your profile in the bottom left corner, then click 'Delegation'. Your current Delegates will be listed under 'Current Delegates'.
9. Click 'Remove' next to the Delegate
Click the 'Remove' button next to the Delegate you want to remove.
10. Confirm the removal
A confirmation prompt will appear asking you to confirm the removal. Confirm to complete the process. The Delegate will be removed immediately and will no longer be able to act on your behalf.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Your assigned Delegate will receive an email confirming they have been granted access to act on your behalf. They can then switch into your account using the 'Switch Account' option in their profile to manage your Loops. You can add or remove Delegates at any time from the Delegation settings screen.
COMMON QUESTIONS
How many Delegates can I assign?
You can add up to a maximum of 10 delegates.
Repeat the add process for each colleague you want to assign.
Will my Delegate be notified when I assign them?
Yes. Your colleague will automatically receive an email notifying them they have been assigned as your Delegate as soon as you confirm the assignment.
Can I remove a Delegate at any time?
Yes. You can remove a Delegate at any time from the Delegation settings screen by clicking 'Remove' next to their name and confirming the prompt.
What can a Delegate do on my behalf?

Can a Delegate assign further Delegates?
No. Only Creators and Power Users can assign Delegates. A Delegate cannot assign further Delegates on your behalf.
